My 1 years old has teeth but they have a gap in them, will it stay like that? Will her adult teeth have a gap?

My dentist said it is good for kids to have gaps in their baby teeth, it means they will have adequate spacing for their adult teeth, since they are much bigger than baby teeth.

My kids are just starting to get their adult teeth (they are 6 and 8) and they so far do not have any gaps and they both had gaps with their baby teeth.

they shouldnt as long as he is not using a pacy when he gets his adult teeth in
Reply:no, that desnt mean her adult teeth will have gaps...i had gaps in between all my teeth when i was little, and now i have perfect teeth
Reply:my daughter was the same at one and still has the gaps at three...

its a good sign according to the dentist that i have taken her to see...it means that there is enough room in her mouth for her adult teeth, as they are bigger than baby teeth...

worse comes to worse...get her some braces...
Reply:Don%26#039;t worry over it just yet. Her teeth are still forming. I am not quite sure when she should have her first dental visit, but take her to see that dentist when its time for it.

She might need braces or appliances to correct this. Dentists can do marvelous things. Get this done for her, if the dentist says to do so. It%26#039;ll make a big difference in her life if her teeth are straight.
Reply:All children has gapped or spaced teeth so they have room to get in their other teeth.
