Hi klarko!
Puppies start getting their adult teeth between 4 and 10 months of age. A growing puppy is going to put anything and everything in their mouth. It must be taught bite inhibition. As the puppy grows, the puppy%26#039;s jaws become stronger and adult teeth replace its puppy teeth. The mouthing and nipping it did as a puppy now can have serious consequences. Puppies that are left to their own devices can destroy a home quickly. Just as training is required to housebreak your little fur ball, training is also necessary to teach them appropriate chewing behaviors. Please look article: http://www.askedweb.com/askedweb/You_Sho...
You can also ask your vet for oral cleansing gel to apply topically for control of bacteria and aid in healing injured or sore gums while puppies are teething.
Bitter-tasting liquids are very helpful to apply to your furniture and handy to use on a bandage after a veterinary procedure to keep dogs and puppies from chewing the bandage.
When the permanent teeth begin to erupt, provide your toy puppy with an appropriate chew toy, something that is soft and that is not going to be swallowed and cause intestinal blockages. Choose an assortment of toys of all textures.

At what age does a dog start getting its adult teeth?
8 months to a year. Dogs are full grown at one year
Reply:Any time from 4 months of age you may or may not notice the baby teeth falling out, the adult ones are already inplace before the babbies fall out
Reply:they will lose baby teeth and gain adult teeth between 4 and 7 months, give or take a week or so..They usually begin in the front and work back to the molars.
Reply:At about 6 months they start losing their baby teeth and adult teeth begin to come through.
Reply:After 4 months.....
Reply:Six months and sometimes earlier. You have to check inside
their mouth to make sure the old teeth have fallen out also.
If not they will have to be pulled by your vet. It does not cost
alot. If you don%26#039;t have them removed, it will cause pain for
your dog and ruin his new teeth.
Reply:as early as 4 months
